Youth Support

The AVPH Youth Department was developed with the strong belief that it should be “For the youth, by the youth”. Programming is created and delivered with the intention of meeting youth where they are and allowing for outside of the box opportunities. We look to inspire and equip youth of the Antelope Valley with tools to be change makers in their community! The Youth Department offers a variety of opportunities for youth between the ages of 7-24:

• Life skill development
• Job readiness (resume building and mock interviews)
• Paid internships (limited spots)
• Group mentoring
• Case management (18-24yrs old)
• Podcast recording
• Arts and craft workshops
• Community engagement
