Successful 3-Day E-Bus Free Tax Preparation Event in Partnership
with GSO and LA VITA Community Financial Organization

LANCASTER, CA – From June 23–25, 2025, AVPH hosted a successful 3-day free tax preparation event, made possible through a meaningful collaboration between Antelope Valley Partners for Health (AVPH), Golden State Opportunity (GSO), and the dedicated team at LA VITA Community Financial Organization (LA VITA CFO). This initiative provided essential tax services at no cost to community members who needed it most.
This event highlighted an important message for the 2024 Tax Year:
It’s not too late for LA County residents to file their taxes.
Due to the federally declared disaster caused by the recent wildfires, the IRS granted an extended deadline, giving individuals and families who reside in LA County additional time to complete their filings. The goal was to ensure that those who qualify were aware of this extension and had access to the support needed to take advantage of it.
Working side by side with seasoned professionals Aragas Mandani and Javier Osorio — who each bring valuable experience in tax preparation, consultation, and financial services — the team was able to assist individuals and families in navigating their tax responsibilities with confidence and ease.
While the event saw a slower turnout over the three days, the team was able to provide quality education and in-depth tax preparation services to those that joined — each of whom received personalized attention and valuable financial insight. The smaller setting allowed for more time with each client, reinforcing a commitment to service quality over quantity.
Additionally, the team is actively exploring opportunities to bring the E-Bus back earlier in the tax season, when demand for filing assistance is at its peak. By aligning with the natural rhythm of tax season, they hope to serve even more residents at the time they need it most.
On behalf of AVPH, the organization thanks GSO for their partnership and for connecting them with LA VITA CFO. Deep appreciation is extended to Andy, Javier, and Aragas for their outstanding work and commitment throughout the event.
AVPH looks forward to building on this momentum and continuing to serve the community with impactful, empowering programs in the years ahead.
