AVPH encourages community residents to address their health needs by forming coalition with different agencies and partners to address their needs. The following are the Coalition Committees:
1. Dental Coalition
Foster Community awareness of dental heath services while collaborating with local dental providers to address access issues for uninsured residents.
2. Nutrition and Physical Activity Coalition

Creating a healthy eating and active living community
3. Older and Disabled Adult Case Management Coalition

Develop a strategic plan for Older and Functionally-Impaired Adult services that focuses on development of new and innovative ways to meet their long-term needs
4. Young Adult Services Coalition
To provide supportive services to the transitioning youth for the purpose of creating productive, viable youth through education, housing assistance, transportation, medical support services, mentoring, educational and vocational training, counseling, and related services so that the end result be self-sufficient members of the community.
5. Asthma Coalition
Raise Asthma awareness of patients, health professionals, and the community.
6. Advisory Board
Group of local Community stakeholders that meet quarterly with the AVPH Executive Committee to open up the lines of communication between residents and community policymakers.
7. Antelope Valley Best Babies Collaborative
Promotes healthy births
8. Executive Committee
For Strategic planning and development of AVPH
9. Faith based Coalition
Provide a platform for local Faith Based Organizations to meet at address local health needs
10. Free Clinic Task Force
Address issues for the uninsured residents in terms of providing them with care
11. Policy Committee
Created to effectively focus and identify policy issues affecting healthcare in the AV
12. Resource Directory
Collect current information regarding health and social service organizations in the Antelope Valley and compile information into a printed directory and a web-based directory
13. Safe Schools and Safe Community
Assuring no student is left behind, by promoting healthy emotional and social development, thus reducing barriers to academic performance. And ensure that students are in a safe community
14. Women’s Health Committee
Address women’s health issues with outreach and health education
